Phil McGee

Phil McGee was born youngest of twelve children in the South Island of New Zealand. Phil’s life changed forever in 1983 when his mother passed away three days before Christmas, this led Phil to seeking the answers to life in all the wrong places.

In January 2000 whilst binge drinking with family Phil heard the audible voice of God tell him it was time for church, being someone that never does anything in halves Phil started attending church and walking with the Lord and has not stopped since.

As the international projects coordinator for IYM Phil has an eye for detail and a heart for the big picture, therefore having a tremendous ability to ‘make the event happen’. So from organizing guests to taking care of the host church Phil McGee has the bases covered.
